Ha-ha. c.1850, altered. Coursed sandstone rubble. Built parallel
to the 3 principal facades of the house and approx. 50 metres
away from it, the short west side terminated by the forecourt and
drive. Approx. one metre deep; the ditches on the east and south
sides now interrupted in the centre by solid bridges which appear
to be later additions. Forms group with Halsall House, and is
included for group value.
