House, dated 1706, altered in C19. Brick on stone plinth, rendered except
on rear wall, roof of blue tiles. Rectangular double pile plan, 2 storeys
and attic, 3 symmetrical bays. Plinth; bands to let and 2nd floors. Door
with pilastered stone jambs and semicircular fanlight plain glazed; arched
wooden porch (c.1920); datestone over door with floral decoration and
lettering in relief:

Two windows on ground floor, 3 on 1st floor, all sashed with C19 surrounds,
eared and minimally-pedimented; 3 gabled attic dormers with sashed windows.
C19 canted bay on left return wall. Interior: dog-leg staircase with
half-landings, of late C17 type: oblong columnar newels with pendents,
broad string, turned balusters and broad moulded handrail (this is in rear
extension, the outer walls of which are C19); section of carved and panelled
wainscot in hall passage, said to have been taken from Nelson's
"Foudroyant", but C17 in style; doors with fielded panels.
