25.3.76 Manor Farmhouse (No 2)

GV II

House. Later C18. Red brick; slate roof, hipped to right; brick ridge
stacks and end stack to left. L-shaped plan. 3 storeys, with first
floor band and moulded brick eaves cornice; reduced proportions to
second floor. Regular 4-bay front: Casements with segmental arches and
raised key blocks; the first floor window to right of centre is blind
and narrower than the others. Beneath it is a 5-panel door with
rectangular overlight, within a C20 gabled timber porch. Rear wing to
right. Interior: Front room to left contains pine dado panelling and
a fireplace with pine bolection moulded surround.
