Uploader's Comments

Late C17 brick-built house on a plinth of red syenite rubble and stones from the Wreake flood plain. Blued headers to the bricks of the east gable form a pattern of centred lozenges. The round arches of moulded brick in the string courses have 11 blocks in the upper and 9 blocks in the lower, giving different sizes. The south wall boasts only a few blued headers.
