Inscription Plate To Robert de Roos, who was considered so devout that parts of his body were distributed among different chapels. -Here lies the heart of Lord Robert de Roos whose body/ is buried at Kirkham, who died/ On the Kalends of June, 13th, In the Year of Our Lord 12/85. Isabella, Lady de Roos/ Wife of the said Robert de Roos lies at a new place near/ Stamford, who died in the Year of Our Lord 1301-. (Photo Jul 2007).
