Well Head

A Grade II Listed Building in Ab Kettleby, Leicestershire

Well-head, Well Lane, Ab Kettleby

Uploader's Comments

Well-head built of limestone. Probably medieval, as the octagonal top looks like part of a village cross. An ironstone spout below the pyramidal plinth discharges water to a channel covered by the metal grille. (Photo Feb 2013).
