II
House. 1801 with later C19 additions. Coursed and squared
ironstone with limestone ashlar dressings and slate roofs.
Chamfered plinth, first and second floor bands, moulded eaves and
coped parapet, rusticated quoins, 3 coped stone gable stacks.
Rainwater head dated 1801. South front, 3 storeys, 3 bays, has
central late C19 parapeted porch with round headed doorway with
impost band and double 6 panel door with plain fanlight, flanked
on either side by a canted late C19, ashlar bay window with 3
plain sashes. Above, 3 glazing bar sashes. Above again, 3
smaller glazing bar sashes. All these sashes have moulded
architraves and keystones. Rear wing has irregular C19 and C20
fenestration.
