C1850-40 two storey stucco faced villa with hipped slate roof and flat eaves
on very shallow brackets. Stucco chimneys. 3 bay entrance front would appear
to have had some alterations in the early C20 but in the style of the original
box framed glazing bar sashes set in shallow camber arched panels on first
floor. Ground floor windows may be reused early C19 ones: tripartite sashes
with slender Tuscan dividing columns, blind cambered heads. Soanian pilastered
doorway, the entablature has blocking course with raised panel. One storey
2 bay service wing to right. The garden front to south is of 4 bays unaltered.
Ground floor chanelled up to first floor sill band. Full length sash windows
to ground floor with profiled console blind boxes. Flight of steps up to
central door. This front has swept flanking screen walls.
