Early C19. Stucco; slate roof with wide flat modillioned eaves. Two storeys
plus attic; 3 bays, the outer 2 advanced slightly and gabled. In bays 1 and
3 on ground floor later canted bay window with sash window above, all within
a segment headed shallow recess, and a single almost square metal casement
window in the attic storey. In the centre bay, an altered ground floor
window and a first floor sash window with an almost square modern casement
in the attic storey. Band at first floor sill level. The entrance on the
right hand return and set back between unfluted Ionic columns in a single
storeyed projection across the facade. Attached on the left, a greenhouse.
Early C19 cast iron and in a Gothic style. Nine bays long by 4 wide, the bays
divided by thin buttresses terminating in crocketted pinacles. Iron glazing
bars as though sashes with tracery above. In the tracery, some original stained
glass. Inside, Gothic bracing to the roof. North-west wing not of special
interest.
