1910, by E F Reynolds and now subdivided. Red brick with a little polychrome
diaperwork; stone tiled roof. Five bays, the outer 2 advanced, brick quoined
left and right and gabled. These bays are 2 storeyed, the centre ones with
a 3-light gabled dormer window in the roof. The outer bays with, left, a
ground floor canted bay window with lozenges in the woodwork and flat roof
and, right, a 4-light window with transom and, above, two 3-light windows
with transoms and roughcast tympana with central lozenge. The centre bays
separated one from another by brick pilasters that, with the first floor brick
band and eaves cornice, divide the facade into a series of compartments in
which the central door with simple stone moulded surround with arched hood
and lozenge decoration in the tympanum and five 3-light windows, the 2 on
the ground floor with stone, the 3 on the upper floor with wooden, frames.
All windows casements with leaded lights, the leading of the 3 central bays
more elaborately treated than that of the other bays. A modern porch to No
32 A tucked in the angle on the right. Attached to the house on the left,
the coach house. Two-storeyed and in a similar style.
