Mid/late C19. Red brick with stone dressings; polychrome and shaped tiled
roof. In a Jacobean style. Two storeys. The entrance front of 3 shaped
gabled bays, the centre one advanced and containing the porch with a 4
centred arch and dragons on the spandrels and above, an oriel window surmounted
by strapwork, the left hand one with mullioned casements at ground and
first floor levels, the right hand one broad and with a broad chimney breast.
To the left of this, a range with 3 ground floor mullioned and transomed
windows and a first floor quadripartite transomed window beneath a shaped
gable. The right hand return, a garden front, of 3 bays with a canted
bay window rising through 2 storeys and surmounted by strapwork all in
front of a shaped gable and an oriel window with shaped tiled roof set
against another smaller shaped gable. In front of this facade a hexagonal
iron lamp on a hexagonal stone base that turns trefoiled.
