side of brick with stone dressings and the right hand side partly also
brick with stone dressings and partly with applied timber framing. Tiled
roof with brick chimney stacks and a cupola placed asymmetrically between
a brick gabled and a lower, half-timbered gabled bay which incorporates the
perch. Windows with leaded lights, some of them with stained glass by
Mary Newill, who also did the embroidery inset over the fireplace in the Music
Room on the ground floor. Door furniture, light fittings, copper firehoods
in the hall, sitting room and music room and other metal work by Benjamin
Creswick or another member of the Bromsgrove Guild. The Hunt and Feast murals
