Early C19 altered and added to. Painted brick; slate roof. Centrepiece of
3 storeys and 3 bays, the central one advanced a little and pedimented.
Ground floor with a bit open porch with coupled Tuscan columns supporting a
tiglyph frieze and blocking course and flanked on each side by a single tall
sash window. First floor with an arched sash flanked on each side by a
single sash window. Broad band at first floor level. Second floor with 3
almost square sash windows. Bracketed eaves cornice. Later wings carried
and advanced somewhat. They have large tripartite windows to both floors
but the ground floor on the right hand side has a projecting canted bay
window. To the right again, more additions. Inside, a staircase typical
of C1860 and, indeed, the stained glass window is signed and dated EB 1862.
Another stained glass window with the initials EB and the legend 'Dieu
donne toutes choses'.
