SO 32 NE ROWLSTONE CP -

7/97 Park Farmhouse

- II

Farmhouse, now divided into apartments. C18 with late C19 alterations,
C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble with C20 tiled roof. Rectangular plan
with central entrance and end stacks, rear service wing. South-west
entrance front: three storeys, three windows with 3-light casements to second
floor with square heads, tripartite sash windows with single vertical glazing
bars to first floor and 3-light casements to ground floor, segmental heads,
pronounced keystones throughout, central glazed porch, doorway with over-
light and ledged door; tall shafts to stacks with cornices. Interior not
inspected: RCHM notes a c1700 fireplace (RCHM Vol I, p 222).
