7/101 Barn approximately 30 m
north-east of Vroe Farmhouse

Barn. Dated 1679. C18 alterations and additions. Sandstone rubble plinth,
timber-framing with corrugated metal cladding and roof, part Welsh slate to
lean-to addition. Five bays aligned north-east/south-west with central
threshing floor flanked by later lean-tos giving catslide roofs, three square-
headed doorways to south-west gable end. Two square panels from sill to wall-
plate, inclined strut trusses. Date of 1679 incised in lintel of threshing
floor entrance. Vroe Farmhouse is not included in this list.
