Farmhouse. C16 or early C17. Sandstone rubble, stone slate roof.
Rectangular plan with central projecting porch wing, gable-end stacks
with integral stone winder staircase to south-west gable end. Two storeys;
south-east front, 3-light casement windows flank forward projecting two-
storey porch with 2-light window; low squat inner doorway with heavy wooden
frame and 3-centred arched head, heavy battened door. Interior retains
chamfered plank-and-muntin internal divisions with squat triangular-headed
doorways and good chamfered ceilings, stone winder staircase with oak treads;
adjoining to the left of the main south-west stack is a small malt kiln or
kell with pierced tiled floor.
