Sundial. Circa 1903 (Blunt (1966) 19) by Reginald Blomfield.
Portland stone with circular inscribed bronze top plate and
gnomon. On 2 circular steps a tall circular stone urn on a
square base. 4 winged hearts carved around the belly. Bead-and-
reel necking and acanthus carved circular cornice to moulded
table. The urn about 1.5 metres tall. Plate inscribed 'E DONO
ARTVRI G. BVTLER MAGISTRI 1862 - 1867'. Forms part of the group
of the formal S front.
