Mid C19 building of 2 storeys, 5 windows. Multicoloured stock brick. Slightly
projecting side bays have rustic stucco quoins to 1st floor. These support breakfront
frieze with inscription in relief letters "ROYAL KENT INSTITUTED 1783 DISPENSARY."
Above this a dentilled cornice and parapet with 3-dimensional Royal Arms in centre
under open segmental pediment. Inscription in parapet either side "MILLER HOSPITAL."
Roof concealed. 1st floor windows renewed sashes in moulded stucco architraves
with console bracketed cornices. Stuccoed aprons with recessed panels to side
windows. Centre section has balcony above round, 3-window ground floor bay.
Ground floor of rusticated stucco with vermiculate quoins to side sections.
Replaced sash windows with glazing bars, those at sides 3-light, segment-headed
with rustications forming voussoirs. Plain entrance on return.
