Description


COCKFOSTERS ROAD TQ 29 NE (West Side) 19/1002 Nos 325-335 (Odd) II Terrace of 6 estate cottages. Mid C19, altered. Cream brick in flemish bond; coated welsh slate roof. 2 storeys. 9 bays arranged 3,3,3 each pair of cottages having central paired doorways in gabled porch with blind window above, flanking windows on each floor, and end stacks. Porch entrances have 4-centred arches; doors inside of vertical panels. windows have replacement small-pane metal casements, chamfered flat brick arches, wooden sills. Stepped dentilled eaves. raised verges with moulded ashlar kneelers and coping. Chimneys have diagonally-set flues, removed from 3rd chimney. Rear single storey additions. 2-light 1st floor windows under flat, tumbled brick arches. interiors not inspected.
