Early-mid C19. Central part of a symmetrical stucco composition made up
of 2 pairs and a single house between. [The outer houses of each pair
are marred by alterations and projecting modern shop fronts]. 2 storeys
and basement, five windows, round arched except for outer lst floor
windows. All sashes, with either glazing bars or margin lights. 1st floor
centre window a later, canted oriel bay with pilasters and entablature.
Roughly rendered walls and moulded door and window architraves to No 126.
Radial fanlights to doors of Nos 126 and 128. Projecting from front of
No 124 and right bay of No 126 mid Cl9 shop front with rounded composite
pilasters, moulded architrave and fascia with dentil cornice. Glazing
bars to windows.
