House. Early C19 with late C19 alterations. Stucco, slate roof behind parapet, brick ridge and end chimney stacks. Two storeys and attic with moulded eaves cornice to front and dentilled eaves cornice at rear; three plus three bays, the three bays to the left being closely spaced. Windows have shaped and moulded stone lintels and keyblocks; mainly twelve-pane sashes except ground floor of fourth bay and first floor of sixth bay which have bow windows; the latter is supported on a flat-roofed extension which has a moulded eaves cornice; bow window and flanking lights, all with fifteen-pane sashes; the ground floor window of the fifth bay has a lean-to canopy on consoles and a fifteen-pane sash; the windows on both floors of the second bay are blind. There are three skylights in the roof; the attic storey is also lit by lunettes at the gable ends. Main entrance at right side in addition with flat roof and blocking course; half-glazed door and semi-circular headed side lights. Interior not inspected. A large house on an elevated site, that was once part of the Vernon Estate.
