Barn. Probably C18, altered mid-C19. Timber-framed, weatherboarded on
brick plinth; plain tiled roof. Four framed bays aligned roughly east/
west; wagon bay second from east gable end with double doors removed.
South elevation has a small 2-light window and a door in each outer bay,
the left one of which has a transom light with three glazing bars. Interior:
long rectangular panels from sill to wall-plate, long straight braces in
lower corners; roof has two tiers of purlins, end collar and tie-beam trusses
with two long struts to collar, raking struts to lower purlin, and a king-post
above collar; intermediate truncated collar and tie-beam trusses have two
large struts with raking struts near the base of each to the lower purlins.
