Cottage. Probably late C17 to early C18 with later alterations. Sandstone
rubble plinth and timber-frame with brick infill. Sandstone end stack and
tiled roof. Two- or three-bay plan aligned north-north-east/south-south-
west. One-and-half storeys with attic. West elevation has one 3-pane early
C20 window in half-storey to right of centre. Raking-top dormer with 2-light
mid-C20 casement to left of centre. Ground floor has one 2-light mid-C20
steel casement to each side of ledged contemporary door. Attached to left
and enveloping the end stack is a mid or late C19 extension with two multi-
paned cast iron casements. Interior noted as having heavy ceiling beams.
