Monument to Pomfret family. C18. Stone pedestal on moulded plinth and buttressed by
consoles at the corners with gadrooned cornice to ogee dome with flaming orb
finial, the orb itself now lying broken by the side of the monument. Earliest
decipherable inscription to Virgil Pomfret, d.1765.
