House. Early Cl9, with datestone reading: "J M/1721". Roughcast stone on
rubble base, ashlar dressings, and slate roof with tile ridges. 2 storeys,
3 bays. 1st floor sill band and top frieze and bracketed cornice, quoins.
Windows are sashed with glazing bars, tripartite windows to 1st and 3rd bays.
Entrance has half-glazed door and porch on 3 steps with Doric columns, frieze
with datestone and cornice with coped parapet. 3 large stacks. Left return of
3 bays has 3 blind windows with pointed sashes. Right return has flat-roofed
projection, blind window and late Cl9 stair window. Rear has large 2-storey
canted bay with hipped roof and sashed windows he base with arched recesses.
Interior has hall with round arch on Doric columns paired in depth.
