Situated almost on the bank of the Severn, Saint Laurence is largely 13thC, with later Perpendicular additions, the upper stage of the tower, and, in particular, the superb south porch, with its panelled arcade. The north porch is a fine example of 14thC carpentry, with arch braced collars carved with stars. The church was restored in 1873 by F. S. Waller.
