Detached house. Early C17. Limestone ashlar front, coursed and squared stone
elsewhere, stone slate roof to coped gables left and back; gable stacks to
moulded cappings. L-plan, with large wing back right, large external gable
stack to left. Two storeys and attic, 3 windows; at ground and first floors
ovolo-mould 2-light with transom, grouped under continuous stopped hoodmould at
each level; central C20 door and porch. Return left has 1-light over 2-light
casements. To roof are 3 C19 gabled 2-light casement dormers. Interior
modified, retains heavy A-frame roof with short standards tied to feet of
principals; large room left of entry, blocked early fireplace to right. An
interesting structure, set back and partly concealed by later buildings.
