attached boundary walls

House. Late C18 or early C19. Limestone ashlar over plinth, with first floor
plain string, and cornice plus blocking to parapet; concrete tile roof to copd
verges and gable stacks. Three storeys, 3-windowed, all 12-pane sashes, but
blind openings centrally at first and second floors; left is 6-panel fielded
door under plain transome light with Doric pilasters and flat entablature
doorcase. One left return is one 12-pane sash. decorative ironwork balconies
to two windows at first floor. To right is boundary wall in squared limestone
block to plain coping at about 3 m; plane door to cambered stone lintel, and, in
recess formerly an opening, pair of garage doors. Wall returns about 14 m to
south side of Edge Road. T left of house similar, but about 2 m high; above
Jasmine Cottage (qv). Both walls are important to the continuity of the
streetscape.
