HAWLING HAWLING VILLAGE

II
Former farmhouse, now house. Late C18. Thin coursed, squared
stone, ashlar dressings, stone slate roof. Three-window front,
one-room deep, 2 1/2 storeys, single-storey rear wing. Boarded front
door centre main facade, plain chamfer to opening, stone lintel:
above cantilevered, hipped porch. Three-light mullioned window
each side, late C20 metal opening lights (as other windows).
First floor 2-light mullioned window in centre, 3-light each side.
Two dormers, with 2-light casements; parapet gables, with chimneys
rebuilt late C20, plain caps. Oven projection on left return.
