1904, by C E Hutchinson. Symmetrical facade, with central block of
3 storeys and 2-storeyed wings. 2.1.3.1.2 windows. Hipped slate roof
has bell-cast and wide eaves; a central slatted wooden turret and prominent
chimneys. The wings have a rendered upper floor, stone band, brick ground
floor, and deep stone plinth. The central block is in Bath stone, with
a wide-arched doorway; above the 1st floor band there are decorative panels
between windows and an elaborate centrepiece, crowned by an arched canopy.
Sashes in reveals; ground floor windows have arches with keystones.
