1 and 2.

Pair of cottages. C16, C17, with C20 restoration and extensions. Brick and tile.
A timber-framed house with north-side extension (C18), now 2 dwellings; front
(west) of 1 storey and attic, 4 above 3 windows. ½-hipped roof, C20 flat-roofed,
dormers, shafted stack. Frame exposed for most of the wall, with arch braces,
brick infill and other walling (of English and Flemish bonds), plinth. Casements.
Plain boarded doors (No. 1 in the north gable). C19 and C20 rear extensions of
brickwork, with tile-hung upper floor at the south side. Built by William Deacon
c1580.
