House. C17, and early C19. Stone, with a C20 tiled roof. Building at right angles to the roadway, with old centrepiece, having a north extension and a south cross-wing; front (east) of two storeys and attic, one storey and attic, 1.3 windows.

Roof nipped at the north end, with catslide at rear, gable to the front of the cross-wing, three flat-roofed dormers with cills at eaves level: shafted stack. Walls of squared malmstone, the cross-wing (early C19) with brick dressings, plinth. Casements. The plain doorway has a thin slate canopy on bold ornamental brackets (c1900), and a four-panelled door.
