Small cottage. C17, modernised circa 1960. Plastered cob on stone rubble footings;
cob or stone rubble stack topped with C20 brick; thatch roof.
Plan: 1-room plan cottage facing east with a gable-end stack in the right (north)
end. 2 storeys with C20 lean-to kitchen extension on the right end. 2 storeys.
Exterior: irregular 2-window front of C20 casements with glazing bars including a
C20 bow window. Front doorway to right contains a C20 door behind a contemporary
porch.
Interior: has a chamfered crossbeam and an axial beam across the left bay is
chamfered with scroll stops. Fireplace is blocked. Roof was not available for
inspection at the time of this survey.
The Green contains an attractive group of small thatch-roofed houses.
