Cottage and attached outbuildings. Timber-framed with plaster infill, slate
roof; large rubble end chimney with brick stack to left. One storey and attic,
two raking top dormers cut through wall-plate. Two windows to ground floor
(not regularly spaced) 2-light casements; panelled door into left hand of
two bays. Framing: three panels high with short struts to upper corners.
Lean-to enclosing chimney at left side. Weatherboarded three-bay outbuilding
with lower corrugated iron roof to right, two levels, plain doors to left,
lean-to to right. Trusses of outbuilding have raking struts above collars,
supported by two queen posts. One of a group of margin reclamation hovels
in a former marsh area.
