Shown on OS as Oldhouse Farm.
Former farmhouse. Late C16 with later alterations. Rubble, stone slate
roof. 2 room plan, stack at north end with spiral staircase to west, entrance
to north, late C20 extension at right angles to south west corner. East front:
2 storeys and gable lit attic, irregular fenestration, 2 windows to each floor,
ground floor with square labels, mainly C19 2-light casements. South gable has
a stack serving a first floor fireplace, which is corbelled out from the wall.
Interior: rooms divided by stud and plank partition on ground floor, with two
doorways, one original; fireplace with large timber lintel, stone spiral stair-
cases. The roof is of 2½ bays, the main chimney in the half bay. The original
doors have triangular heads, which include the entrances to the staircase.
