House. C17 or early C18. Timber frame on a stuccoed black sill,
plastered with a steep thatched roof. Red tiled outshut. A 2-
storeys, 2-cells, central-chimney, lobby-entry plan house facing
N. 2 windows on each floor flanking a trellis porch to the 4-
panel door. Flush casement windows generally, 2-light on ground
floor, 3-light on 1st floor right, but 2-light Yorkshire sliding
casement on 1st floor left. Prominent at start of village green.
