House. C19, possibly originating as on extension to Wayside
Cottage (q.v.). Uncoursed knapped flint walls with red brick
toothed quoins and dressings to openings. Slate roof. A small,
2-storeys house facing N with entrance on W side. 6-panel
moulded door with flat hood on deep shaped brackets. 2-light
casement windows with rectangular leaded panes. Canted oriel on
W gable at ground floor and 2-light window above. Brick
buttresses. Painted brick, one-storey, rear extension not of
special interest. Used as P.O. before C1900. Included for
group value.
