House, now offices. C18, altered and extended in early C19.
Grey gault brick with half-hipped slated gambrel roof. 2-storeys
and attics, double-pile, central entrance, end-chimneys plain
house facing E, set back from street, with stair central at rear.
Front has 5 windows to upper floor with parapet concealing
central attic window cut into roof. Recessed sash windows with
6/6 panes and plastered reveals under flat gauged arches. Wide
central round headed entrance with fluted Ionic 3/4 columns, full
entablature with modillioned cornice, elongated corner volutes to
capitals, panelled door with narrow side lights under an
ornamental radial grille to fanlight. 3 windows 2-storeys N
wing set back, smaller S wing with central glazed lantern.
