House. C17 or earlier (doc.ref.1682), renovated in C19. Timber frame
roughcast with weatherboarded apron in parts. Half-hipped thatch roof
but red tile around front dormers, front porch, and slated W lean-to. A
1 ½-storeys, 3-cells, internal-chimney, lobby-entry plan house facing S,
with chimney a third from W end with a gabled dormer at the eaves on
each side of chimney. 2 3-light casements with similar casements to
dormers over. 6-panel flush beaded door in rustic gabled open porch.
Interior has large open fireplace, axial beams, and rear-wall chimney
added to room at E end. (Jackson (1983)15).
