1908 by M H Baillie-Scott. The most sophisticated of this architect's Letchworth
houses with an interesting open plan. Roof partly altered 1923 by Bennett
and Bidwell. One and a half storeys. Irregular fenestration. South-east
(garden) elevation dominated by large paired gables. Tiled roof, originally
hipped with low, sweeping eaves; roof lengthened and south-west hip removed
in 1923. Brown brick stacks. Roughcast walls. Mullioned dormers and casement
windows with leaded lights. Hipped entrance porch.
