House C17 refronted in early C18. Timber frame roughcast with
C18 red brick face. Steep old red tile roof with quarter-hip at
N and 3 gabled dormers on roofslope. C18 brick 2 storeys rear
wing painted, with tile roof. 2-storeys and attics L-plan house
facing W, with large internal gable chimney with 3 flues at S
end. Symmetrical 3 windows front with stucco plinth, plastered
floor band and dentilled eaves cornice. 3 2-light casement
windows to dormers (renewed). Flush box sash windows with 8/8
panes (6/6 over door) with segmental gauged arches and tall
panelled pilastered doorcase with full entablature to 6 panel
door and rectangular fanlight. Interior has 2 rooms separated by
entry passage to stair in rear wing. Large axial beams.
