House. Mid-late C18. Red brick in Flemish bond, pantiled roof. 3 storeys,
5 bays; rear range of 2 storeys, 3 bays under 2-span roof. Centre bay
breaks forward slightly under low pediment. Central door of 4 bolection-
moulded panels with overlight with repeated Gothick trefoil-arched glazing
bars in pedimented Ionic doorcase with fluted pilasters, pulvinated frieze,
and dentilled eaves and raked cornices. To right and left are 4-pane sashes
with sills under flat gauged brick arches. First floor: 5 similar sashes of
which the centre sash has a bracketed sill. Second floor: 5 similar smaller
sashes, the centre sash again on a bracketed sill. Modillion eaves and
raked cornices. End stacks, raised coped gables on shaped kneelers. Rear
range: to right a door of 6 Gothick panels with overlight with Gothick
glazing bars. 16-pane sashes with Gothick glazing and sills under flat
brick arches. Roof dormers with 2-light sliding sashes with glazing bars
under catslide roofs. Raised gable, axial stack.
