Public House, now restaurant. Early to mid C18, altered C19 and extended
C20. Brick, tiled roof. Tall in proportions, 2 storeys and attic. 4
window main range. Central entrance; porch on fluted Doric columns. C19
canted bay to ground floor right. Glazing bar sashes in moulded timber
frames with rubbed brick heads. Sign in place of one first floor window.
Plat bands between storeys. End stacks with stone cornices. Flanking 2
storey hipped roof extensions with entrances and sashes. Further lean-to
extension to right with loft door on right return. C20 extensions to
rear not of special interest. Interior not inspected.
