Pair of houses. c1840-60. Stucco over brick with concealed
roof and tall brick party-wall stack with iron railings.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basements, 3 first-floor windows (3:3).
Stucco detailing includes 2/2 horizontal-pane sashes in plain
reveals and with sills on feet. End entrances, flights of
steps to recessed entrances in round-arched surrounds with
tooled heads on corbels and with keystones, 4-panel doors with
sidelights and overlight, within round-arched surround with
moulded head on corbels and keystone.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: railings flank steps.
An unaltered facade which terminates a good group of villas in
Montpellier Grove.
