Cottage. Late C17 or early C18, with minor later C18 additions. Rendered cob with hipped thatched roof. Rendered additions with corrugated-iron lean-to roofs. Squared and coursed stone end stack to left with C19 brick top stage.

Plan: two-room plan, sited at right angles to road (facing south-east). Principal larger room (hall) to left with external end stack to left and smaller unheated room to right. Roughly central entrance (at right-hand end of hall) with projecting porch to front. Probably later C18 or C19 one storey lean-to outshut to left-hand end and continuous outshut at rear. Two storeys with one-storey outshuts.

Exterior: symmetrical two window front; C19 small-paned two-light wooden casements to left, first floor late C20 one-light wooden casement to right and ground-floor late C20 one-light window to right. Roughly central porch has raking roof (under projecting eaves) with wide doorway. C20 half-glazed door. Left-hand end stack with chamfered offsets to sides and string course with chamfered offsets to brick top stage above. Left-hand lean-to addition has boarded door to front. Ground floor four-pane window to right-hand end of house.
