Farmhouse. Circa mid C17 with C20 addition. Plastered rubble and cob walls. Gable
ended thatch roof. Projecting plastered rubble stack at left gable end with brick
shaft, brick stack at right-hand end.
Plan: originally 2-room plan, possibly with passage but now with entrance lobby and
staircase at centre. Both rooms heated. Early C20 rear addition.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 3-window front of early-mid C20 2-light
casements apart from ground floor windows to left of porch which is C19 and smaller
C20. French window to its left. Thatched roof C20 porch to right of centre with
plank door.
Interior: right-hand room has chamfered unstopped cross beam. Open fireplace with
chamfered straight-cut stopped wooden lintel. Moulded granite jambs, only lower
half of left-hand one survives. Left-hand fireplace blocked. Roof structure likely
to be late C18 or C19 judging from the feet of very insubstantial straight
principal's visible on the first floor.
