Cottage. Mid-late C17 with C19 and C20 additions. Rendered cob walls. Thatch roof
hipped to left gabled to right end. Projecting rendered rubble stack at right-hand
end with slate dripcourse and brick shaft.
Plan: originally 1-room plan with fireplace at right gable end. Subdivided into 2
in late C19 or early C20 and C19 outshut added centrally at rear. Further C20 1-
storey extension built behind left-hand end.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 2-window front of C19 2-light small-paned casements
C20 leanto thatched porch to right of centre with plank door. 1 storey extensions
along rear wall.
Interior: large open fireplace with rough granite jambs and chamfered wooden
lintel. Roughly chamfered cross-beam. Insubstantial straight principal rafters
partially visible on first floor - probably C18 or C19.
