Farmhouse. C17, possibly earlier. Plastered cob with stone footings. Hipped
thatched roof. Formerly a 3-room, cross passage plan house, with a rear wing
(probably to the parlour). Each of the 3 main rooms heated by rear stacks, internal
or partially concealed by later accretions, all with brick shafts, 1 plastered. 2
storeys.
Front: regular fenestration; 5-window front, four 3-light windows, 2 with C19
casements with glazing bars, 2 with C20 metal frames, and 1 C20 2-light window to
first floor; all 3-light metal framed windows to ground floor, C20; and 2 doorways,
1 with leaded canopy.
Rear wing has C19 casement window to inner face; rear lean-to with corrugated iron
roof. Attached to the end of the rear wing and running at the same alignment as the
main range is a 2-storey barn, each floor with planked door, that above to hayloft.
