Large barn with attached granary and horse-engine house. Probably late C17 origins
to barn but remodelled, reroofed and enlarged in C19 when the granary wing and
horse-engine house were added. Rendered stone rubble and cob. Bitumenised slate
roof with hipped ends; polygonal roof to horse-engine house.
L-shaped plan barn with granary to end of the shorter wing, and horse-engine house
set unusually in the angle. 4 cart entrances to front of barn. Single 4-light
timber mullion window at left end, the mullions of square section and 1 mullion
removed. Lintel and weathered sill are chamfered. Horse-engine house is open-sided
with stone rubble piers. Scissor braced trusses to main range of barn, king-post
trusses to wing. Horizontal winding beam in situ to horse-engine house.
