Milestone. Early C19. Granite, mainly concealed in Embankment. Inscribed:
To Modb 2 To Dart 14 (note, no 1/2 miles recorded as on some other stones). Stone is c.75 m from Leighmoor Cross which lies to the south. One of a
series on the Modbury to Dartmouth turnpike re-routed south of Brownston
in the 1870's or 1830's.
